ADT Team
An Armed Drill Team in JROTC is a specialized group of cadets who perform military-style drill routines using demilitarized rifles. These routines involve precise, synchronized movements that demonstrate discipline, teamwork, and control. Cadets execute a variety of maneuvers, including marching in formation, facing movements, and manual of arms. Armed Drill Teams often compete in drill meets at local, regional, or national levels, participating in events like regulation drill, exhibition drill, and inspection. Being part of an armed drill team requires strong physical coordination, discipline, and consistent practice. It is considered an honor and a leadership opportunity within JROTC, promoting confidence, military bearing, and pride while representing their unit and school with professionalism.
