FF Team

The Flag Football Team in JROTC is a recreational and competitive group of cadets who play a non-contact version of football, where players stop the ball carrier by pulling a flag from their belt instead of tackling. The team promotes teamwork, communication, physical fitness, and sportsmanship, all of which align with JROTC’s mission to develop disciplined and well-rounded leaders. Participating in flag football helps cadets improve coordination, endurance, and strategic thinking while also building camaraderie and boosting morale within the unit. Games are often played against other JROTC units or within the program, encouraging friendly competition and unit pride. Overall, the JROTC flag football team offers a fun and energetic way for cadets to stay active, strengthen bonds, and develop leadership and teamwork skills outside the classroom.
